Sabaidy is aimed at backpackers on a very tight budget. They have three openly adjoined rooms with six bunk-style beds, and another with four beds. The beds have sheets, but you'll need to put a small deposit down for either blankets or towels. Each bed comes with a largish locker in the room, and a safety deposit box is held downstairs for valuables. Sabaidy also has a few individual rooms that are cheap and very basic and the steps up to those on the top floor are somewhat precarious. The shared bathrooms have hot water but are not especially clean. The ground-floor restaurant doesn't always serve food. Staff are quite happy to help you organise visas and onward travel arrangements, and it's a great place to meet other travellers.
