What we say:

This modern, new place owned by the same people who have 75 Travellers Lodge is just a few doors down, in the same quiet street just a few minutes' walk from Chulia. It's clean and bright and all rooms have windows, fan, sink, toilet and hot shower. A few rooms have balconies too. A shared area at the front has a TV and chairs too, as well as a seating area on the first floor. This type of place is raising the standard of budget accommodation around Chulia.

nice + (too) quiet

i payed 30 ringgit for a single room with fan an bathroom/shower although it was low season. the place is really neat and clean and the managers are very friendly and caring. but I actually would have preferred to stay at 75 traveller lodge as there are more (younger) people hanging around, star lodge is the place for couples and older people/men who travel alone. when walking home alone late at night, the street where star lodge is located is quite quiet, which is a bit unpleasant.
