National Park Dorm
The budget oprion

What we say:
The cheapest place to stay is the huge two-level dormitory behind the Visitors Centre at Kampung Peta. While it’s jam-packed with bunk beds (we stopped counting after 30), sleeping on a mattress with a pillow feels like luxury after a night in a tent. Linens are provided and the dorm is fan-cooled for a few hours each night when the generator is turned on. Showers and toilets are in an adjacent building with separate halves for men and women – they exceeded our expectations for being modern and clean. Lockers are available, but do remember to bring your own padlock.
