Hanya Satu Hotel
JB's top new-comer

What we say:
A newcomer for 2009, Hanya Satu is giving JB's mass of mediocre budget hotels a run for their money. The hotel's exterior is bright and welcoming, the staff actually smile, and the rooms don't disappoint. Everything still looks and feels like new -- the air-con is whisper quiet, the TVs are flat-screen, the beds are cozy with crisp white sheets, and the attached bathrooms are refreshingly modern. There's a fountain with drinking water on each floor, WiFi, an internet cafe and money changer in the lobby, and a food centre across the street. The rates are comparable to other hotels in central JB, but the standards here are much higher. Promotional rates are usually offered on weekdays.
