First impressions count for a lot, and this place loses brownie points by being rather offhand to potential guests. Get beyond the initial unfriendliness though, and Serai Inn is not such a bad option. On the plus side, it is very security conscious, making for a safe stay. It's also in a quiet yet convenient location, albeit well away from the heart of Chinatown. The cosy lounge and rooftop terrace are positives too. Most crucially, the accommodation is clean and comfortable, and fairly priced. All dorms/rooms have air-con. Rates include a simple breakfast and WiFi.
