Tucked away at the corner of a quiet road, but within easy walking distance of the heart of Chinatown, as well both the LRT (Pasar seni) and Monorail (Maharajalela), this family-run guesthouse has a lot to recommend it. First and foremost, it's one of the most genuinely homely and welcoming places in town. Add in decent pricing, pleasant communal areas and high standards of cleanliness, and travellers on a tight budget could do a lot worse than The Travel Hub. The entrance is to the right of the betting shop. Rates include a simple breakfast and WiFi.
