A lot of thought went into the design of this place, but unfortunately not quite as much effort seems to be going into maintenance. With among the most expensive dorm beds in town, you do not expect scuff marks on the walls. With a lick of paint, and more attention to detail, BackHome KL could justify its high prices. Negatives aside, the decor is understated and tasteful, the beds are very comfortable, the communal areas are attractive, and the staff are both friendly and helpful. Rates include a simple breakfast and WiFi, but not towels or blankets.
