This well-located place only opened in June 2010, but has rapidly established itself as one of KL's very best guesthouses. Clean, secure and tastefully designed, with friendly and helpful staff, it's not hard to see why The Explorers is so popular. The lobby area/lounge gets high marks as an area to chill out, meet other travellers, and catch up on emails. The rooftop terrace is great too, although not during the full force of the daytime heat. Room rates include a basic breakfast, WiFi, tea and coffee, but not towels.
