What we say:

We couldn't find anything freaky about this newish hostel -- just great value rooms and a bunch of cool people. Whether you stay in the four-bedded dorm on a private room, everyone shares bathrooms and you'll see the staff cleaning them a few times a day. You'll find everything a backpacker needs including WiFi, a kitchenette and cosy corners for drinking with your new friends. There's even a 24-hour mini-mart next door. Do note that smoking is allowed in the lounge -- a blessing to some and a deal-breaker for others. Rates include a light breakfast of coffee and toast. They also have a sister hostel in Kuala Lumpur called Matahari Lodge.
