Forget the heritage look; the poshest place to stay on Jonker Street has a cutting-edge style. The 16 rooms have all the modern fixings including king-sized beds, huge flat-screen TVs, WiFi and mini-bars. The bathrooms are especially chic with black and white tiles and most rooms with separate shower and long tub. There's even a Japanese-style room with the mattress on the floor, if you're into that. The staff are lovely and will show you to your room with a smile. The hotel is at the heart of the action, so do expect some noise on weekends when the night market is in full swing.
