Ranting Beach Resort
Best of a mediocre bunch

What we say:
Of the beachside resorts close to the village this is the best of a very average bunch, with bungalows scattered across the grounds. Some of the huts are actually very well positioned with regard to the beach -- you'll be able to get the full sunrise experience, but the facilities, and the laidback, verging on utterly disinterested attitude of the staff are not great assets. You're paying a premium to be on the beach side of the road, but we'd say Tanjung Inn is a far better option.
