What we say:

Guest Inn Muntri seems to attract a more Southeast Asian crew than some of the other guesthouses in Georgetown which can make for a refreshing change. Rooms come in three main varieties: dorms, private single and double rooms with shared bathroom, and two private rooms with bathroom. Downstairs includes a small cafe and common area where the complimentary breakfast is served and there is also a pool table and fish pond. The single rooms are very small but they do manage to fit in a desk and chair, while the double rooms are a better size. Opt for a downstairs room if you can as the thudding steps up and down the upstairs corridor will drive you insane. Rates are competitive for the standard. Rates fluctuate a little depending on what day it is so the rates listed here reflect what was on offer the day we stayed here (Saturday). Free WiFI is advertised but can be a bit patchy -- especially (and oddly) in the morning.
