Berambih Lodge
Good decor just ok rooms

What we say:
Berambih Lodge is another backpacker outfit in Chinatown and while not the best on offer, we award effort marks for the decoration of their communal area, which has traditional palm leaf panelling lining the walls, giving a feeling of being inside a traditional longhouse. While the lady at the front was full of information and willing to help, we did feel that the sleeping areas and bathrooms let down the rest of the lodge.
Some of the private rooms have frosted glass separating the rooms and this can make it feel like there is a lack of privacy. The dorms looked a little worse for wear and could really do with a lick of paint. The same can be said for the bathrooms, which although clean and tidy, look like they need a bit of love.
