Smack in front of the Sultan Mosque, there can't be a better location -- Sleepy Sam's claims to be a 'luxury Singapore hostel'. And they do deliver. A few shophouses in this quaint neighbourhood were converted into a bright, cozy and friendly hostel with relaxing hues of dark wood. With free breakfast anytime, free internet, a great little cafe, a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ, this welcoming hostel may be priced higher than its competitors, but it has the advantage of being situated in one of the best neighbourhoods an independent traveller can ask for, as well as having one of the warmest welcomes. Highly recommended: truly Singapore's luxury hostel.
