Austin Powers himself would approve of this retro-fabulous hotel on the edge of Chinatown. Others may not appreciate the retina-burning paint choices, but in-room amenities like a big LCD TV, free WiFi, and a digital safe are definitely from the modern era. Most rooms are a comfortable size but Superiors are really, really squishy and best suit a solo traveller. Facilities include a good restaurant, spa, and fitness centre, but a pool would be appreciated at this price range. Hotel Re! is a bit of a hike from the MRT, but they offer a free shuttle service to the city centre.
