What we say:

There are a few love hotels in Chinatown and LuLu is one of them. It's not as sleazy as the infamous Hotel 81, but when we asked about rates the response was, By the day or by the hour? If you can get past the shady business, the rooms are actually bigger than some at four-star boutique hotels, and fitted with queen-sized beds, air-con and TV. By some exhibitionist quirk there's a glass shower stall in the middle of the room but the toilets are shared facilities in the hallway. Walk-in rates immediately fell to $80 for more than one night .
