Though Mayo Inn is not much to shout about, this establishment near the computer mecca of Sim Lim Square is a good choice for an affordable double room in town with hot water, air-con and TV. Rooms are adequate, though some have no windows. If you're looking for a no-frills room with attached bathroom and aircon, but don't have the deep pockets for Singapore's expensive hotels, Mayo Inn is it.
