Tai Hoe was one of the old world hotels that catered to Chinese businessmen on the 'Chinese side' of Little India. Today it is a midrange business and leisure hotel, but in many ways it feels not much has changed. Indifferent staff (the hallmark of many a Chinese run hotel) and nondescript furnishings; musty odd-smelling rooms -- though with all the regular amenities expected of a midrange hotel, this one is of average value with a blast from the past.
