Description
Little India's most luxurious hotel, the Parkroyal on Kitchener Road is accordingly pricey. The lobby is a flash, smart affair but staff disappoint with their brusqueness. Rooms are well equipped with standard amenities expected of a hotel in this price range, but the average rooms are hardly inspired. At the time of writing, the new management of the Parkroyal group is putting the hotel through an overhaul (expected date of completion, May 2007). Perhaps when that is completed the hotel will be better value. The hotel's renowned Teochew Porridge buffet features good quality and variety and is available for lunch and dinner, or 'high tea' on weekends and holidays. Be sure to hunt around for an internet rate.
