Of the dozen Fragrance budget hotels across Singapore, the Little India location is the pick of the litter for its perfectly central location and rooftop pool. Though they're clean and well furnished, the rooms are a tight fit for two people with luggage and the bathroom may remind you of being on an airplane. Some rooms have city views while others are windowless — definitely ask to be moved if they stick you in the latter. At this price point the pool is a bonus and you'll definitely use it after a sweaty day of sightseeing. A 7-eleven and bus stop beside the hotel add to its convenience.
