What we say:

The first sign that something's amiss at Budget Room Singapore is the lack of a sign. This "guesthouse" is actually located on the third floor of a condo building and has 30 simple rooms with TV, WiFi, and a choice of attached or shared bathroom. Because it isn't a real guesthouse (we're not even sure it is legal) there often is no staff to be found and the cleanliness of the shared facilities greatly suffers. If you are looking for the cheapest possible room near Orchard Road this might be exactly what you want, but for a fun atmosphere or good customer service go anywhere else. Cash payment only.
