What we say:

The Orchard Grand Court is a small step up in price from the so-called budget hotels on Orchard Road, but a huge increase in value. It's an older building but the rooms are huge and furnished with a queen-size bed, mini-bar, TV, and a table and chair set. Many rooms have multiple bed arrangements and all have the space to add another, making it a smart choice for families. We're not sure why the hotel describes itself as serviced apartments — none of the rooms have kitchens — but it does have a fitness centre and swimming pool. There's a supermarket on the ground floor and the street is lined with great cafes and local eateries.
