Take a Nap
Friendly and central, pack earplugs

What we say:
Set right on Bangkok's busy Rama VI Rd, traffic noise is always going to be an issue here — if you're a light sleeper, you will need earplugs. Take a Nap is well known for its pop-art style and many of the rooms are adorned with blazing colours, which are a nice change from peeling paint and damp concrete. Rooms are small, but adequate and feature TVs, a safety box and a small desk Bathrooms are of a good size and very clean. The dorms had very firm mattresses but are clean and adequate. Take a Nap boasts free in-room WiFi. Staff were very friendly and helpful — quick on good, honest advice, and offered lots of suggestions for things to do in the neighbourhood. There is a common area on the ground floor with facilities including a pool table, internet and a lounge area. Good choice for the area, but make sure you've got earplugs.
