This large hotel at the western end of Chinatown is suitably pitched towards the business travellers as it looks more like an office block from the outside than a hotel. Rooms are bland, but have all the standard features expected for this price: TV, air-con and minibar. The location isn't as central as the Grand China Princess, which is in the same price range and remains the better option. The 24th floor rooftop restaurant yields views over Bangkok's bustling skyline -- spectacular at night. Be sure to ask for a discount when making a reservation -- you're likely to get one.
