Description
This mid-range choice is in the middle of the action on Yaowarat Road. Rooms are clean and well-kept and rather quiet given their location. One of the hotel's two restaurants has karaoke and the other is in a 14th floor Sky Garden where guests can chow down overlooking the Chao Phraya River. Rooms are cozy and have TV, fridge and hot shower/bath. There are travel and massage services and meeting rooms available. Prices are a little higher than at the China Town Hotel, but with its better location and cleaner rooms it's worth the extra baht. The in-house restaurant does Dim Sum and Cantonese cuisine. Rates include breakfast. VIP rooms on the top floor have a decent view and are slightly larger.

China Town Hotel
526 Yaowarat Rd, Chinatown
The 70-year-old Chinatown has reasonable rooms with standard mid-range facilities: TV, hot water, air-con and minibar.
