Banyan Tree Bangkok
Stunning building

What we say:
Certainly one of the most spectacular buildings in Bangkok, the Banyan Tree boasts a stunning roof-top bar that has some of the best views in Bangkok and great cocktails. The business-orientated rooms are spacious and each offers separate living and sleeping quarters, and are done in a very tasteful contemporary Thai style. The pool is small but as with the rooftop bar offers incredible views across Bangkok. The staff are professional. Be sure to shop around for an internet rate as the walk-in and rack-rates are well inflated.

The business!
We loved the Banyan tree. The rooms are to die for. All have beatifully decorated separate bedroom/living areas and most have spectacular views over the city. The little extras make your stay even more memorable. The whole place smells geogeous - essentail oil burners and incense sticks are complementary. As for the rest of the hotel - have you seen the pictures of the top floor bar? It's like drinking in the clouds. Expensive, yes, but you'll love it. Go for a drink at Vertigo if nothing else.
