Description
Just off Soi Ngam Duphli is the no-frills Moon House guesthouse. If you're easily claustrophobic or are above average height, the small dark stairwells at Moon House will probably put you off. Nevertheless, rooms are well kept, and offer a cheaper alternative to many other options nearby and long stay discounts are available. Fronted by a simple, but comfortable cafe, Moon House has the added bonus of cheap Thai and Western food on the premises. Definitely aimed towards the budget traveller, Moon has the distinct feel of a Khao San Road guesthouse, but without the dreadlocks. Customer service isn't exactly gold class and while smiles may cost extra, staff here are efficient and mostly get the job done.
