What we say:

Under the same management and sharing the same name as the internet cafe just across the way, Penguin House offers a more upmarket set of rooms further down the Soi Sri Bamphen. Large clean rooms are available with simple but attractive furnishings. It's the little details such as Thai style ornaments and clogs in rooms that make Penguin House attractive, with realistic room rates. Most rooms have plenty of light, but several windows look directly out onto the wall of the adjacent building. Penguin House is very secure, requiring swipecards to access staircases in addition to the standard door locks. Staff are pleasant and patient, and long term guests are welcome. Free WiFi in the lobby (accessible from some, but not all, of the rooms).
