The Bed and Breakfast
A cheap and basic choice at the quieter end of the

What we say:
The unashamedly functional name of this guesthouse serves as a good guide as to what to expect. With only 20 rooms, the Bed and Breakfast is small and to the point. The rooms are air-con, well kept and despite being a little bit on the small side, perfectly adequate. Some of the cheaper single rooms have windows which open onto the interior of the building that are neither screened nor barred, so make sure you keep them closed and locked to sticky fingers. There is a small, nondescript cafe area on the bottom floor where breakfast is served from 7:00 — 10:00. Aside from that and the tiny front porch there's really not much to make you want to hang around. This place offers exactly what is says on the label. Being further down Soi Kasem San 1 than the other guesthouses means it is quieter than most.

Decent hotel, great location
We found the hotel itself to be clean and pretty basic - the room was small but the bed reasonably comfortable and the water hot (there even was a shower curtain - real luxury!). The location is great - we liked being so close to the Skytrain and in an area of town where Thais far outnumbered tourists. There's good street food on the Soi, too.

Fine place to stay
Paid 650B for a twin room with one double and one normal bed. The rooms are very clean and functional, though nothing that special. The included breakfast is minimal, but a nice bonus. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, though a strict anti-prostitution policy means no visitors of any sort are allowed in the rooms.

A-Maze-Ing
Quite the maze to find your room if your on an upper floor. Clean and efficient, nice place. Comfortable and quiet. Nothing to complain about while staying here.

Cramped Rooms
My hubby and I stayed in a double air-con room. The room was so small that they had to push the bed against the wall so that only has walking space (3/4 of a metre of walking space). The bathrooms are the shower-in-room type. Moderately clean. They give a small bar of soap and fresh towels everyday. It is, however, a stone's throw from National Statdium BTS and Mah Boon Krong, so for that it redeems itself somewhat.
