Description
The Bed and Breakfast is the last stop on Soi Kasem Soi 1. This place has a small, spotless restaurant on the ground floor and there is also a really tiny front porch where you can watch the occasional passing taxi or fruit cart. The staff here are helpful and the rooms bright and clean, although some are cramped. The small cafe downstairs is more of a breakfast stop than anything else. It is incredibly clean. Rates include breakfast.

Decent hotel, great location -

We found the hotel itself to be clean and pretty basic - the room was small but the bed reasonably comfortable and the water hot (there even was a shower curtain - real luxury!). The location is great - we liked being so close to the Skytrain and in an area of town where Thais far outnumbered tourists. There's good street food on the Soi, too.

Great Location/Price, Very Bas -

We paid 600 baht a night for one room with a double bed. Free breakfast was toast, tea and fruit. There is also free bottled water. I would recommend this hotel as it is my favorite location (Siam Square) for a great price. But don't expect a lot in your room, it is clean and basic which is all I needed. The room is very small (maybe 7' x 10') with only a phone, one window & AirCon, one small table and a coat rack. There is no TV, no Fridge, no closet, no desk or drawers. The attached bathroom is sufficient, it is thai style where the shower is basically the entire bathroom with a curtain shielding the toilet. My window overlooked an alley and it was plenty quiet for us. They have cheap laundry service here but no computers or internet service. I had to call them to make the reservation and I can confirm that they held the room for me despite not taking a deposit.

If you're looking for the cheapest place around Siam Square, this is my pick, Skytrain stop is 2 mins away at end of stree

Fine place to stay -

Paid 650B for a twin room with one double and one normal bed. The rooms are very clean and functional, though nothing that special. The included breakfast is minimal, but a nice bonus. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, though a strict anti-prostitution policy means no visitors of any sort are allowed in the rooms.

A-Maze-Ing -

Quite the maze to find your room if your on an upper floor. Clean and efficient, nice place. Comfortable and quiet. Nothing to complain about while staying here.

Cramped Rooms -

My hubby and I stayed in a double air-con room. The room was so small that they had to push the bed against the wall so that only has walking space (3/4 of a metre of walking space). The bathrooms are the shower-in-room type. Moderately clean. They give a small bar of soap and fresh towels everyday. It is, however, a stone's throw from National Statdium BTS and Mah Boon Krong, so for that it redeems itself somewhat.

A-One Inn
25/13-15 Soi Kasem San 1, Rama 1 Rd, Bangkok
A-One gets lots of return custom and with good reason. The friendly staff creates a homely and welcoming atmosphere while the rooms are clean, although some are just off the lobby, and not particularly private. All have air-con and hot water. The rooms are small and nothing particularly special,... more

White Lodge
36/8 Soi Kasem San 1, Rama 4 Road
The small, cramped lobby nicely mimics the small, cramped rooms. The staff are friendly and approachable, but, aside from its cheapness, there is little to recommend White Lodge over any of the other guesthouses on Soi Kasem San. But even at the low prices, the rooms are well kept and spotlessly... more

Pranee Building
931/12 Soi Kasem San 1
This Thai-Chinese style hotel faces onto Rama 1 Road but the main reception entrance is via Soi Kasem San 1. You can also get to reception via Rama 1. Walk through the restaurant to find the reception behind to the left. Pranee has standard basic rooms with aircon and private bathroom with hot... more
