Baiyoke Sky Hotel
Rooms with a view

What we say:
This hotel is in the tallest building in Thailand so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it. Three levels of rooms at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Standard (22-45th floors), Sky (46-68th), and Space (70-74th) all have impressive views of the city. The location just to the north of the Bangkok city centre assures both the great views of the city and easy access to most of the sights, particularly the shopping district of Pratunam above which it towers. There are two buffet restaurants on the 78th and 82nd floors at which hotel guests receive an impressive 50% discount, and a rooftop bar and rotating outdoor observation deck that hotel guests can access for free — non guests must pay 250 Baht before 10pm. Despite the lobby and corridors giving the impression the hotel has seen better days, the rooms are large, clean, bright and tastefully decorated. Considering the views are, as you would expect, spectacular, they represent quite good value for money.

Pricey but worth while
Stayed at Sky zone -- amazing view. Staff and room were great (it was 70 USD/night). Location is ok: not near a BTS, but close to Pratunam market, a 20-30 min walk from Siam (they also provide a free shuttle from hotel to Siam).
