PS Guest House
A little gem

What we say:
PS's newer wing has lovely spacious rooms with wooden floors and large bathrooms, while the old wing features slightly worn, carpeted rooms with small kitchens, making them perfect for self-catering travellers. Rooms are quiet, which is to be expected on this relatively low traffic soi, and have windows that open to shady exteriors, ideal for late sleepers and those who appreciate allowing in a bit of fresh air. Both styles are value for money. The guesthouse is located halfway down this relatively quiet, tree-lined soi and is run by friendly Thai ladies who really make you feel at home. Rooms close to the front can be a bit noisy because of the convenience store next door — ask for a room further back if you can. Wise to book in advance.

No Problems
I am a frequent returning guest at PS Guesthouse for the last 6 years. It is a little oasis in the busy city center and we loved the place. We never had problems with noise and bed bugs! Because we stay at PS often we always have our favorite rooms and maybe because of that we never had noise problems. It is certainly a lot better than many medium-range hotels in the area. They are always very obliging and accommodating, and super helpful.

Ding-dong
New 7Eleven next door since 6/2008. You hear the ding-dong from the door all night long. Good value with earplugs.

bedbugs and noisy!!!!!!
While scratching your body from the bugbites you can listen 24/7 to the ''ding-dong'' from the 7/11 next door ...

Amazing Flashpacker Value
Score another victory for Travelfish! We found this place through the website and booked via the email form. This property is just as described, with spacious rooms, wooden floors, etc. The rooms in the new section are quiet, with lovely Bangkok city views, for 900 baht. Near the Sukhumvit shopping area, and close to the Nana BTS station. The friendly manager even let us check out late so we could finish up a doctor's appt. You'd be hard pressed to get better value for your money in this part of town.
