Description
This popular business hotel is placed within easy walking of Phrom Phong BTS, restaurants and bars, Emporium department store and a pleasant park. Staff are friendly and professional, if somewhat lacking in English skills, and though the rooms are fine the carpets are showing their age and the hotel is about ready for a refurbishment. Rooms have the standard facilities and while functional are not imaginatively decorated and many smell of stale smoke -- be sure to request non-smoking if it bothers you. The pool is unphotogenic as well. The deluxe rooms are much more spacious than the superiors, but all-in-all, there are better options for the price, in better environments.

Windsor Suites Hotel Bangkok
8 Sukhumvit Soi 18-20, Bangkok
Every room in this popular hotel is actually a suite, with many of the rooms boasting excellent views across Bangkok. The suites, while a little cheesy, are all very spacious, comfortable and well-maintained, with large windows that make the rooms bright and allow in pleasant breezes that are... more

Four Wings Hotel
40 Sukhumvit Soi 26, Bangkok
Popular with Japanese, the Four Wings is a fine choice with bright, spotless rooms, particularly friendly staff and some of the brightest elevators in Thailand. The rooms are pretty standard fare, though they're very clean and some on the higher floors have reasonable views. The hotel is a five to... more

The Imperial Queen's Park Hotel
199 Sukhumvit Soi 22
This massive 37-storey, two-tower hotel overlooks Benjasiri Park and Emporium. It's in an ideal location for both business travellers and shoppers, as it's near the BTS and Sukhumvit and Rama IV Roads. Arguably too big for many people's taste, the hotel is certainly rather maze-like. The views... more

The Eugenia
267 Soi Sukhumvit 31, Bangkok
Inside and out, the Eugenia hotel appears to be an exotic, antique mansion; this is only partially true. The owner, who designed and decorated the hotel, is a lifelong collector of antiques and the hotel is his creation, built to showcase and share his passion. Creaking, wooden floors are... more
