Description
This massive 37-storey, two-tower hotel overlooks Benjasiri Park and Emporium. It's in an ideal location for both business travellers and shoppers, as it's near the BTS and Sukhumvit and Rama IV Roads. Arguably too big for many people's taste, the hotel is certainly rather maze-like. The views however are the best in the area, overlooking a large spread of Bangkok. The Imperial Queen's has two (very chilly) pools, and direct access from the hotel to the park (near the basketball courts) making this a good location for families with children. The area is touristy, so if you stay here be wary of the dodgy taxi and tuk tuk drivers preying on guests. The rooms are standard five-star fare and nothing special.

We booked via asiarooms but our booking agent ended up being Pacific World Thailand somehow. We were therefore refused gym use and breakfast buffet this time -and treated like trash at times. I knew I had to pay for childs breakfast but should get the adults. The gym use refusal was a shock as we paid about the same as last year, no huge bargain. The Manhattan hotel pool was warm enough to swim and is a FAR better deal. IQP tried to put the 3 of us in a room with 1 single bed at first. Tried to charge for a lot of minibar booze -and we don't drink at all. Rude treatment at check out over that and more.

Very nice hotel. Grand lobby. 2 pools, one of which has a section fenced off for young children. Great location. The staff provides very reliable babysitting service as well. I paid B3,489 deluxe double via online agent. The front desk wanted double that.

Four Wings Hotel
40 Sukhumvit Soi 26, Bangkok
Popular with Japanese, the Four Wings is a fine choice with bright, spotless rooms, particularly friendly staff and some of the brightest elevators in Thailand. The rooms are pretty standard fare, though they're very clean and some on the higher floors have reasonable views. The hotel is a five to... more

Novotel Lotus, Bangkok
1 Soi Sukhumvit 33, Bangkok
This popular business hotel is placed within easy walking of Phrom Phong BTS, restaurants and bars, Emporium department store and a pleasant park. The Eugenia
267 Soi Sukhumvit 31, Bangkok
Inside and out, the Eugenia hotel appears to be an exotic, antique mansion; this is only partially true. The owner, who designed and decorated the hotel, is a lifelong collector of antiques and the hotel is his creation, built to showcase and share his passion. Creaking, wooden floors are... more
