Description
The Marriott is located at the very beginning of Sukhumvit Road, about halfway between Nana and Phloenchit BTSs. The hotel has beautifully designed rooms done out in a contemporary Thai style and the staff are professional, though they can be very short on the phone. The Marriott is more popular with business travellers than tourists and tour groups but boasts all the mod-cons it's supposed to have with a price tag to match. Equally appealing are the Marriot Spa and the hotel's restaurants: New York Steak House, Tsu sushi bar, and Nami teppan yaki. BBC bakery on the Sukhumvit side of the hotel has excellent salads and sandwiches that are 50% off after 18:00.
