Description
Very well-located nearby Nana BTS, the Amari has rather staid rooms and a dim, cave-like foyer. However, the clean, cool air-conditioned lobby leads to immaculate, if aging and standard fare hotel rooms and the service is up to standard. The building though is a real eyesore and its popularity with both tourists and business travellers is solely thanks to its location. Be sure to check internet rates.

It's right in the heart of things, it's big, it's unattractive, but it works. The service is superb from start to finish, rooms are immaculate and spacious, and the facilities (such as the pool) are great. I managed to get a standard double on the 12th floor with balcony for 4,500 bhat, which I thought was fairly good value considering the standard of accomodation.
