Description
This guesthouse specialises in dorm rooms of different sizes: Rooms with 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 beds are available. The rooms are big, but once they are filled with bunk beds, there isn't much space to move around, and the smaller rooms contain only beds and nothing else but a shower. For those who opt for a more private room, one perk is the relative quiet that comes with staying on a fairly quiet soi. While a couple of the rooms have their own shower, most share toilet and shower facilities. The common area has a pool table and there is internet available on site. The location, near Bumrungrad Hospital, has German, Italian, Russian, Thai, Bangladeshi, and Japanese restaurants and is close to Phloenchit BTS.

Dorm A/C
350 THB (low season) 350 THB (high season)

Same rate for one, two, or three persons

suk 11
1/33 Sukhumvit Soi 11 (Soi Chaiyot)
Comprised of a rambling collection of wooden and concrete buildings hidden down a Sukhumvit Soi 11 subsoi, Suk 11 is one of Bangkok's top backpacker guesthouses. Friendly English-speaking staff and comfortable, reasonably quiet rooms make this an ideal spot to relax in one of Bangkok's most vibrant... more

The Atlanta
78 Sukhumvit Soi 2, Bangkok
This institution opened in 1952, and not a skerrick appears to have changed since then. It's still a bit of a shame as the foyer promises mystery and charm but the rooms themselves are dreary. As it is, the Atlanta is often full, with people seduced by the foyer, quirky pool and eclectic notices... more

Miami Hotel
2 Sukhumvit Rd, Soi 13
This old hotel features aging rooms with prices typical of the area for the quality. The Miami is a similar spot to the Atlanta Hotel, rundown but friendly. In its favour it boasts a particularly deep swimming pool, providing welcome relief for tourists unused to Bangkok's steamy heat -- some say... more
