Entering the Pullman you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd wandered into a modern art museum. The enormous, high ceilinged glass cube which makes up the lobby area sets the tone for the rest of the hotel. On the fourth floor a glass swimming pool hangs precariously over the secluded garden courtyard below. The rooms are spacious, clean, stylish and include a generously sized bath tub in the bathroom. If the swanky French restaurant, wine bar and whisky pub aren't quite fulfilling your thirst for luxury, the King Power Complex is but a few metres away. This shopping mall, famous throughout Thailand, allows you to buy duty free products and pick them up at the airport when you leave — just remember to take your passport and flight itinerary with you. If you prefer your hotels warm and cosy, this might not be for you but for a bit of modern glitz, it's a winner.
