Hotel de Bangkok
An inner city setting with plenty to explore nearb

What we say:
Tucked awkwardly into a corner where soi 12 meets Ratchaprarop Rd, the setting of this hotel isn't exactly idyllic. That said, this is actually a decent, low-priced hotel within walking distance of Ratchaprarop airport link station. The fresh and breezy rooms are a good size for this price range and each has a bathtub. The Superior rooms all come with a balcony looking out over the soi and beyond to the surrounding neighbourhood (grubby flyovers and all.) Hotel de Bangkok is well located to get some serious shopping done. Nearby destinations include Central World, the labyrinthine Pratunam clothes market and the infamous Panthip Plaza, the number one stop for cheap IT products and pirated DVDs, CDs and software. There be bargains to be had!
