Description
Since the Siam is a bit of a walk from the train station and main bus stop it probably doesn't get as much business as the Mitr Paisal, but don't let that deter you -- the rooms are a bit fresher than in the city's other hotels, with new-looking beds and dresser units with extremely large mirrors. Rooms also have cable-TVs with some English-laungage channels. The hotel is just off Ratchadamnoen Rd to the west of the Chedi, more-or-less opposite the 7-Eleven.

Two things stand out like a pair of mismatching sore thumbs when you arrive in Nakhon Pathom - one is the Chedi, the other is the Mitr Paisal Hotel. It's a whole five storeys of mid-range accommodation close to the station to the north of the Chedi. All rooms have bathrooms and the air-con rooms... more
Mitr Samphan Hotel
2/11 Ratchadamnoen Rd, Nakhon Pathom
This is located just off the main drag heading out east from the Chedi. It's a simple and friendly place that uses a nicknack store selling everything from baby-walkers to walking sticks as its lobby. The rooms themselves are basic and a bit dusty but the beds are soft and inviting. Some rooms have... more
