This super-friendly spot was the backpacker #1 choice for years, and while the crowds have slowly drifted elsewhere, C&C remains as friendly as ever. Set in spacious grounds which can get a little swampy when the river is high, C&C has a bunch of basic bungalows and a couple of even more basic rafthouses. This is a real budget option, and while the rooms are showing their age, and many do have a considerable critter population, they remain the cheapest by far on this stretch of the river. Relax and take it easy is the motto here and if you spend much time here, no doubt you will! The restaurant does Thai and western food. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and you'll always get a warm welcome.

Had three great nights here,safe, comfortable, very relaxed and lots of space. More friendly and helpful than super! Brilliant position. Nice meals served on the river with the bonus of a terrific riverside restaurant just up river a bit with fantastic thai meals,try the steamed fish. Not five stars but value indeed. Will stay here again if I am ever this way.
