V.L. Guesthouse
A good clean choice

What we say:
Right across the road from the River Kwai Hotel, this is a very friendly outfit offering 26 clean rooms, all with air-con, hot water and cable TV. The startlingly purple hallway leads from the lobby to an attractive courtyard draped with flowers, and on to the dimly lit corridor of rooms. It's not the most beautiful guesthouse in town, and the rooms don't get a lot of natural light, but rooms are large and good value, and it's an acceptable choice if you prefer to be in the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The restaurant is set behind the building, so it is quiet and peaceful.

Too expensive
I didn't stay here but had a look inside... the room was clean but small and the window didn't let any light in. It was too expensive for me so I stayed at prosupsak next to it which was shabbier but still had a TV and was only 200B. If you stay there get an upstairs room in the main building... the motel bungalows have no ventilation and are quite dark
