Rainbow Lodge
Literally a rainbow of bungalows

What we say:
The seven brightly coloured bungalows at Rainbow Lodge perch crowded together on a hilltop over the river. The fan rooms make good use of available space with the bedroom up in the roof area, leaving the downstairs free for lounging around. The air-con rooms, however, are rather cramped with an odd selection of furniture. The glass-fronted VIP rooms at the water's edge have great views over the river but are a bit pricey given their size. The owners are exceedingly friendly, and determined to make the place succeed. They offer free pickups from the bus or train stations, free internet, discounts on longer stays and a free trip to the Tiger Temple if you stay for more than three nights. They even have a riverside platform with a collection of fitness equipment and run a cookery school. While the rooms aren't spectacular, the staff seems intent to make up for it with their extra service.

just fine.
I satyed in a double room with fan. It was a little bit run down. The coach was broken and the matress was quite hard. You'll need a mosquito net as windows and front door do not fit and leave some holes. Still I was charged 150B for it, for some low season offer or something.

Bit run down
Staff friendly and helpful. Free internet for guests was great. Breakfast not good value but lunch/dinner was good. Room bit run down, couch completely broken so could not sit comfortably.Bed in loft was cool, but needed mozzie net as holes to outside round windows etc. 350 B and was supposed to get discount with the flyer from train station (said this on flyer) but no discount.

not too great
Stayed here for 1 night. The place was deserted and the room was small and a bit run down. On the plus side, it was very clean. We ended up moving to another guesthouse for two more nights.
