Description
This 4 star resort is located just north of the railway bridge and has some of the best hotel rooms in the area. The rooms are arranged around a large swimming pool and gardens that run down to the river and all -have air-con, TV, refrigerator and hot water. The best rooms are by far the eight deluxe rooms on the ground floor that have massive spa baths and private stone walkway down to the river's edge. The suites are also quite impressive but could do with having bathrooms twice the size. Surprisingly, they aren't equipped with a spa bath. This is a popular place to stay, being reasonably close to the town centre, and as usual, offers discounts on the standard rates here if you book in advance, which is highly recommended, especially over long holiday weekends when occupancy rates are high.
