Samprasob Resort
Plush rooms above the wooden bridge

What we say:
Positioned directly over the Mon Bridge, Samprasob resort has a range of accommodation options strewn across its hilltop property: rooms in two multi-floor compounds, and in more private bungalows. Rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable, and come with all modcons -- TVs, air-con and minibar -- making these some of the most comfortable rooms in Sangkhlaburi. Though decorated in a modern style, the decor has thoughtful Thai touches. The grounds of the resort itself are somewhat sparsely landscaped, and divided by a road -- though perhaps the views of the Mon village make up for that. Recommended.

Nice view over lake & bridge
We liked Sangklahburi, it has a relaxed feel to it. Stayed for two days (because P-GH was full). The Room (semi-detached bungalow with A/C, TV and fridge, plants in the shower) was OK and had great views over the bridge and lake. Food in the restaurant is OK, but there are not too many other options in this sleepy town. Customer service needs improvement for sure: First they did not have a pick-up service. Secondly: While havin breakfast we were informed that we had to move to another room by midday. So we packed our things and wanted to go the other room. When we came back they said: No need, you can stay... WTF???!!!???
