Description
Despite its location near the air-con bus stop at the entrance to town, Baan Cwaedaen feels like a rural retreat. Its large wooden cabins are scattered throughout a gravel car park, under the shade of a canopy of giant trees. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with TVs, huge beds, and covered outdoor decks for lounging. Rooms are open and airy, and bathrooms are spotless. They also have an attractive outdoor restaurant, though opening hours seem irregular. There's no English sign, so look for the sign on the main road with a picture of a green mountain range in front of a yellow sky. Recommended.

Though S Boonyang Bungalows prominently features two quirky wooden cabins, most of its rooms are in drab concrete bungalows.
