Lopburi Asia Hotel
Very close to the ruins

What we say:
If for some bizarre reason the Nett Hotel is full, Lopburi Asia is your next best choice. The rooms are well-sized and clean, plus it's within spitting distance of the ruins, though morning traffic is a bit noisy. They have western breakfasts available in the small downstairs cafe.

Hard beds, wet bathroom
Stayed here one night a few months ago in a double room with private facilities and fan. Room was clean, bathroom was wet allover. Bed was hard, like Thais love it (I hardly slept). I think we payed 300 or 400 baht for the room. Wouldn't recommend staying a night in Lopburi, for the town is so small and the monkeys tend to be a bit aggressive... nice experience though. They had a nice rooftop terrace with view and smoking area (get your beers at 7-eleven)

O.K. but not fancy
Simple basic large concrete rooms that make a good nights sleep if you avoid the rooms facing the street. Free parking inside.

Not bad
Clean, cheap and safe but no frills. If you just need a comfortable place to stay this would be OK. The fan rooms might prove too noisy for light sleepers, as this is located on a main road.
