What we say:

At the western end of the beach and one of Bang Saen's older hotels, the SS Bangsaen Beach is looking a little tatty around the edges and could definitely do with a facelift. Its major market is corporate clients looking to have beachside company getaways. The dining facilities are the first thing you will see approach the hotel from beach road, and will remind you of a holiday camp canteen facility. Having said that, the rooms are spacious and come with all modcons, including cable TV, hot water and fridge. The staff in the lobby are helpful and speak functional English. This is an ideal hotel for a family on a budget. The beach is 30 metres from the front lobby and local shops, cafes and restaurants surround the hotel complex.
