What we say:

While Tide Resort and the Sez have overtaken Bang Saen Resort, this was one of the original luxury hotels in town. The resort, tucked between newer developments, looks a bit dated nowadays but its prices are a little more reasonable than other top end places in town. The resort is an excellent midrange option, thanks to its good service, fine sea views and a pool. It's one of the few resorts located on the boardwalk and not on the other side of Beach Road. The location also means that you are within walking distance of many pubs and restaurants along the seafront. The rooms are a little small and bland, but they come with all amenities, including cable TV, fridge and en suite bathrooms are standard. A coffee shop adjoins the dining facilities. Located on the left of the giant 'welcome' sign at the roundabout towards the beach, this is usually the first hotel people see as they drive down to the water.
