What we say:

On Soi 1 and 2, at the eastern end of Beach Road next to Saensok Resort, a multitude of guesthouses sell the same type of room at the same type of price. The Manat is located on the corner, with signs only in Thai. However, it does stand out from the crowd as its rooms are slightly larger and the folks manning reception are a little bit friendlier than most. Rooms come with cable TV, fan or air-con and a cold shower. The staff seem to take pride in keeping the facilities clean. Soi 1 is a short walk from the beach. Several restaurants are located nearby.
