Charming guesthouse, helpful owner

What we say:

Nuan greets all guests personally and offers great service. Her English is reasonable and she can give you plenty of local information. The guesthouse is located in the westernmost part of Beach Road. The beach, on the other side of the road, has given way to pavement and terrace. There is a row of similar guesthouses all looking out to sea. All rooms at the front have sea views, at no extra charge. Rooms come with air-con, cable TV, fridge and Western toilets. Downstairs a restaurant/pub serves all the Thai favourites and some Western dishes. Weekend prices may be higher, but this is a great backpacker style bolt hole and is well worth a try.
